The Waiting Room Prayer

This painting captures the raw emotions of having your child in the hospital, not knowing the outcome. 

In this painting, I captured the emotions that my parents felt when I underwent brain surgery and they were in the waiting room for hours. Although the surgery was very successful, there is always that deep hopelessness and sorrow that can only be felt when your loved one’s life hangs in the balance, especially when it is your youngest child.
